A valid MOT is an annual legal requirement for any vehicle following the third anniversary of its registration. The government has set an upper limit on how much a garage can charge to undertake an MOT test. Many garages offer a set price that is less than the government’s maximum price, but they cannot charge more.
The maximum price you pay for an MOT will depend on the vehicle you drive. Below we have listed the MOT fees set out by the government, however you may find your local garage sets their own price or is running a special offer. Get an MOT price for your local garage.
